Comparing HiPP Formulas: Dutch, UK, and German Variants - Which One Stands Out?

Choosing the Best HiPP Combiotik Formula: Dutch, UK, or German?

We often get asked which version of HiPP Combiotik is the best: Dutch, UK, or German? The simple answer is that we prefer the Dutch HiPP, especially for Stages 1 and 2, over the UK or German varieties.

Here are the main reasons behind our preference:

  1. Prebiotics and Probiotics: The Dutch version includes both prebiotics and probiotics in Stages 1-2, similar to the German version. However, the UK version lacks probiotics in any stage.

  2. Carbohydrates: In all stages, the Dutch version doesn't contain starch as a carbohydrate, which is also the case for the UK version. On the other hand, the German version includes starch in every stage.

  3. Primary Carbohydrate: The Dutch version uses lactose as the primary carbohydrate in all stages, similar to the UK version for Stages 1-3. However, the German version uses starch instead of lactose in Stage 1.

  4. Soy Content: In Stages 1 and 2, the Dutch and UK versions do not include soy. In contrast, the German version contains soy in Stages 2 and 3.

Taking these factors into account, we find the Dutch HiPP formula, especially for Stages 1 and 2, to be our top choice. However, individual preferences may vary, so it's essential to consider your baby's specific needs and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns."
